The Socha-Gelbmann Electronic Discovery Survey Continues

We may be killing our rankings, but our survey continues on.  We will be replacing the rankings we have used for the past six years with a new and improved way to assess providers and their capabilities.

Where we plan to go with the survey

First and foremost, we will continue to conduct our survey.

We will continue to do much of what we have done in for the last six years.  We will prepare assessments of the size of the electronic discovery market.  We will put together projections as to growth or shrinkage of the market.  We will analyze and report on trends in the electronic discovery market.

We will replace our ranking systems with an approach that we hope will offer a better, more nuanced, and more sophisticated means for the evaluation of providers.  We are not quite ready to announce exactly what we have in mind, but look to announcements in the near future.

What you can do

We have asked for comments and suggestions.  We have received feedback from a number of folks and we would like to thank those who have been so generous as to share their thoughts with us.  It helps up greatly as we work to create a replacement for our ranking system.

For anyone who would like to have a say in where we take this project, please send your thoughts to survey.suggestions@sochaconsulting.com.  We welcome them.
