Guidance Software to Demonstrate New State-of-the-Art EnCase(R) eDiscovery Capabilities at LegalTech

(NASDAQ:GUID), whose customers include Bank of America, Wal-Mart, Amgen, Ford, and GE, as well as over half of the Fortune 50, today announced it will demonstrate the new version of its industry-leading EnCase eDiscovery product at LegalTech New York 2008, which takes place at the New York Hilton & Towers between February 5-7. It will also present a keynote focused on best practices for overcoming human error in records management and eDiscovery on February 7 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in the West Ballroom.
Guidance Software will showcase EnCase eDiscovery’s new groundbreaking processing capabilities, such as EDRM-compliant XML load-file creation, global de-duplication and rolling production–features that allow organizations to process electronically stored information in-house and eliminate outsourced processing fees. The Company will also highlight new connectors for leading archiving and content management solutions and enhanced connectors for live messaging servers (Exchange and Domino) that drastically expand the market-leading search, collection, and preservation capabilities of EnCase eDiscovery. These game-changing capabilities will be available for attendees to evaluate in Booth 426 in the exhibit hall.
The company will also highlight its industry leadership in eDiscovery issues in a keynote panel entitled “Overcoming the Human Factor: Technology Solutions for the Records Management and E-Discovery Dilemma.” The panel, which will feature authorities from corporate and outside counsel, will cover recent case law relating to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, as well as how to avoid costly mistakes related to non-compliance and custodian self-collection. Panelists will include: Pallab Chakraborty, Litigation Technology Director, Cisco Systems; Andrew Drake, Esq., Senior Counsel, Discovery Management Office of the Chief Legal Officer, Nationwide; and Thomas A.
